One of the most important duties of an Academic Learning Coach is to ensure your child stay's on task. Often, parents don't realize this until it is a bit too late. Even a few days of unaccounted work can lead to hours of added computer learning time.
Don't let this happen to your family. The frustration can be overwhelming if you do not stay on task daily But, thankfully, keeping on task is easy if you implement just a few days a week of designated Academic Learning Coach duties.
My recommendations are to keep Monday, Wednesday, and Friday as chosen "sign on parent days". It will take you a mere 10 minutes to see what is graded and what is due. It will also give you a chance to plan family outings around material that is being introduced. Therefore, giving you the chance to incorporate some enrichment activities into your child's curriculum.
Should your child be one of those independent learners, then by all means checking once or twice a week is sufficient? Of course, you mommies that have the primary learners will be on the system daily. But, don't despair! Hope is in the horizon!
