Cons: Requires an internet connection and a laptop or desktop, which could be a problem for tablet and BYOD environments.
Bottom Line: A big step forward in making iterative 3D design more accessible and social.

Minecraft-like 3D modeling (and printing) made super easy for all ages
Pros: Simple, Minecraft-inspired design tools are familiar to some users and easy to learn for others, especially with the great tutorials and examples.
Cons: Designs are exclusively composed of cubes, which makes creating very complex designs a bit challenging, and the teacher dashboard is limited.
Bottom Line: This may be the fastest, cheapest route from idea to 3D printing out there, if you don't mind low-res, pixelated designs.

Some days we need a little mind-numbing creativity. Especially on those days things are going a bit too fast, or that important project is due. Online learners need time to regroup and spark creativity at various intervals during the day.

At Crayola there's an open canvas. A great place to unwind and do a little creative drawing. This page should be book marked on every students PC who exhibits a creative instinct. The site offers a Super Tip wheel with various drawing materials. There are felt tip markers, crayons, paint brushes, twistables, and colored pencils, all with a wide range of colors. All your child has to do is pick one, pick a color, and get to drawing. It's like having boxes of all your creative drawing tools right at your fingertips eliminating that loss factor when you need a color and it is missing!
